Re bush walks, we have Logues Bush I think down Days road? and right in Wi Apo place there's a bush path, which is very nice and very accessible right in Town.
There's swings and the War Memorial Park and Centennial Park is a great place to take the bikes and let the kids go for gold.

Arts and Culture Strategic Action Plan 2014

The draft plan sets out a five to ten year strategic direction for the planning and delivery of arts and cultural activities in Auckland (Wellsford).
In this plan, ‘the arts’ refers to all forms of creative practice, including performing arts, visual arts, screen and digital arts, and literary arts.
Submissions open on Monday 23 June 2014 and close 5pm Wednesday 24 July 2014

The Bay of Islands Singers at Waimate North

The Bay of Islands Singers will perform celebratory and sacred music in the church of St John the Baptist at Waimate North, recognising 50 years of choral singing in the Far North. Michael Bell will accompany the choir on the organ, and there will also be trumpets and drums. Two performances - 3.00p.m. and 6.00p.m.
Adults $15, students (under 18) $5.
