ENGLAND and PAN at Art at Wharepuke Art at Wharepuke presents two shows ENGLAND- International prints and drawings PAN-Print Arts Northwest, Portland, Oregon, USA Special Portfolio Presentation In November 2010 Art at Wharepuke co-curated with PAN an international print project which saw a selection of works by 17 leading New Zealand printmakers exhibited alongside PAN members’ works at the Washington County Museum, Oregon. Waitangi Day Celebrations 6 February 2012 At 5.30am the nation's birthday begins in prayerful mood at the Whare Runanga. A lone piper will greet the dawn at the country's largest Naval flagstaff to begin a day of sports, ceremony and community family fun. Maungaturoto Primary School Horse Trek Registrations start at 8:30am with the ride off at 9.30am. Pre-registrations are preferred, and entries will be accepted on the day, however for catering purposes it would be great to have an idea of who is willing to take up the challenge! The Northland Field Days is the largest event held in Northland, and the second largest agribusiness event in New Zealand. Over 550 exhibitors participate, attracting in excess of 27,000 visitors to the event over the three days. Located on a purpose built 36 hectare site in Dargaville, the Northland Field Days is run by a not-for-profit society and is delivered by a combination of Volunteer Committee, Local Helpers, Exhibitors, Contractors and a small number of onsite Staff. |

FNDC Mayoral Cycle Ride - Okaihau to Kaikohe On Sunday 18 March Mayor Brown invites you to attend the FNDC Mayoral Cycle Ride along Pou Herenga Tai - Twin Coast Cycle Trail. The bike ride will start at 10:00 am from Two Ponga Park (Okaihau) and finish in Kaikohe at the Mid-North Motor Inn.
